Beverly Hills is causing a stir in H-town!

HOUSTON – Sutton Stracke, one of the stars of Bravo TV’s reality show “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” recently hosted a pop-up show in the heart of Memorial to benefit Trees of Hope. This Houston-based organization has provided funds exclusively to Star of Hope’s Children’s Critical Care Fund since 1990.

The white walls were painted with bright colors and designs from fashion pieces from her West Hollywood boutique, “The Sutton Concept”, in which 10% of every item sold went directly to Trees of Hope, helping hundreds of local children in need.

It was a great time to get to know Stracke and his deep connection to Trees of Hope. Here’s what she had to say:

Kings: What touches you and connects you to Trees of Hope and their mission?

Stracke: My friend Kory Blum, who lives here [Houston], her husband Jeff Blum is a presenter for the Houston Astros, we met in Orange County, so we raised our kids together, and Kory, was very naughty, and sent me a picture of this pup, and my dog had just died… and I felt very sad… and I thought, “Well, this dog is very cute”, and I have to save dogs now. And because this handsome white Labrador was committed to Trees of Hope and the charity, I thought, “Well, I’m going to bid on this dog,” and so I won. Now he is an integral part of our family. We love him very much and I will be eternally grateful to him. Thanks to Trees of Hope, I have my Waylon, so I’m thrilled to be able to give back today.

Kings: What inspires the creativity behind your designs and clothes that we see today? What is your favorite piece?

Stracke: My favorite pieces are my cashmere and cotton blend t-shirts, which I wear. We have them in v-necks and crew-necks, and my cashmere sweaters are also my favourites. This is the first phase of the three modules we are creating. You know, I’ve been on the board of Oceana for a long time, and it gave me such an awareness for our environment and the need to be responsible. And how to be responsible while being fashionable. Thus, these cashmere t-shirts are a blend of Japanese recycled cashmere and organic cotton that we made in Italy.

Kings: What can RHOBH fans expect from this upcoming season premiering May 11?

Stracke: We have a new cast member, I think she’s very interesting…and you know we’ve clashed a bit, you’ll see that on the show…but I really think this season for me is all about growth , forgiveness, laughter and redemption .
