Amber and Tyler

**Double Adoption and Senior Alert** There are many wonderful ways to describe this pair of bonded siblings…delightfully sweet, playful, loyal, protective, intelligent, loving, and gentle are just a few.

Tyler and Amber were reluctantly rescued by their owner and are now looking for a forever home together. They will absolutely fill your home with joy and laughter! Tyler is a true cuddly bug who truly enjoys being cuddled and kissed by his people. He will patiently wait for you to stop loving him even after he’s had enough. Her gentle soul will shine after one look in her gentle eyes. Tyler enjoys playing with his sister and chasing her around the yard. He also plays well with children. He loves his naps after long periods of play.

Amber is a princess in every sense of the word! She loves being pampered and massaged. She’ll let you know she wants petting by nudging you. She loves bath time and considers it her personal spa time! Amber is a sweet, sassy girl who looks and acts more like a puppy. This quirky girl will play for you to get more attention. He’s a smart and funny pup that will melt your heart!

Tyler and Amber are both 11-year-old Shar Pei/German Shepherd mixes who are heartworm-free, up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered/spayed, and microchipped. If you would like to meet this dynamic duo, please download an adoption application bobbianandthestrays.org and send the completed form to [email protected]. Please keep in mind that adoptions are local only (NYC and Long Island area).

**Smithtown Animal Shelter Special Request**

Prince Charles
Prince Charles

Prince Charles is a handsome rooster who was found wandering as a stray and was never claimed. When he was first found he was emaciated, calm and going through a stress shed. With some time off and some food in his belly, he has now become much happier and healthier, and he loves to sing all day. Prince Charles has been through a lot in his life and he’s ready for a home of his own with a flock to spend time with.

The Smithtown City Animal Shelter is not equipped to safely house animals other than dogs and cats long term. However, if an animal is in danger and needs temporary shelter until another shelter becomes available, they will do their best to provide safe shelter while they can. While the animal waits for the space to open in another shelter, it will be available for adoption through the adoption center. Call 631-360-7575 for more information.

Rocky Sylvester

A Good Samaritan realized that 1-year-old Rocky Sylvester (Adoption #H211540) was a friend in need and rushed him injured to Animal League Pet Health Centers America with injuries. **Double adoption** Roger (adoption #H211395) and his shy sister Patty (adoption #H211394), four months, were rescued locally and provided a comfortable place to wait for a loving family to find them. Roger’s bravado impacts Patty who watches his every move and then tries to copy him. Animal League America is very proud of the progress they have already made, and they foresee a bright future once they find their first family (with children over the age of 6) to spoil them. Are you ready to love this duo as they learn just how wonderful life is as beloved pets.

Agate and ripple
Agate and ripple

**Double Adoption** When surviving the hot city streets is all you’ve known, getting used to the comforts of indoor living can be a challenge. Luckily for four-month-old babies Agate (Adoption #H211558) and her brother Ripple (Adoption #H211559), their rescuer delivered them to the safest place imaginable. With a team of fans cheering them on, they’re ready to learn a new way of life. A family (with children over 10) willing to offer them consistency in a stable home will reap the benefits of adopting these two shy kittens. With just a little time and lots of love, Agate and Ripple will purr their gratitude for the opportunity to live an ordinary life with their extraordinary heroes! Want to be the savior of these brothers and sisters?

Truffle
Truffle

The tiny 5-month-old Truffle (Adoption #H211570) has a lot of worries for such a small piece! He doesn’t have to worry. His scary days on the streets are a distant memory; only happiness awaits him. A quiet family life is what awaits her, with adoring adults and patient children (6 and up) ready to make Truffle her first real home. Additionally, Animal League America noticed that Truffle benefited from a cat companion to show her the ropes. That kind of devotion and consistency, and maybe a feline companion waiting for him at home, is all it takes to make him believe he’s finally where he’s meant to be!

As always, thanks for reading and remember to always adopt, never shop…pass it on!
