Le Havre firefighters
Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Wednesday and one call Thursday. Wednesday’s call at 9:27 a.m. accompanied firefighters to a report of a gas leak on the 1900 block of Second Street. The scene was entrusted to NorthWestern Energy.

Firefighters responding to a fire alarm at 10:48 p.m. Thursday on the 800 block of Fourth Street only had to reset the alarm.
Le Havre Animal Refuge
The shelter was hosting three 2-week-old kittens and three 5-week-old kittens of unknown sex this morning, four cats, two male cats and an 11-month-old male kitten. In addition, an 8-week-old male kitten was placed in foster care.

The shelter has also housed a 9-month-old male mixed-breed puppy, a female border collie, three 6-month-old male mixed-breed puppies, a male dachshund, a male mixed-breed dog, a female mixed-breed dog, a female Female Rottweiler and an 11 week old male mixed breed dog. Additionally, a 21-week-old mixed-breed female puppy and a 22-week-old mixed-breed female puppy were being held in foster care. The shelter also housed two 6-month-old mixed-breed male and four female puppies separately.
