New Seagrove Business Lets You Bring A Dog Or A Friend For A Drink

SEAGROVE, NC (WGHP) – David Isbell always wanted to open a bottle store. His girlfriend loves espresso and they both love dogs. So one day they decided to combine the three and open a business.

Few months ago, Puppies and cups of good company opened in Seagrove, a rural town in North Carolina known for pottery.

“When people come here to visit a few pottery stores, they can come here and fill up really quickly for a little more caffeine. Or if they need to relax, they can move to that side here and then they can come back and enjoy the town of Seagrove, ”Isbell said.

The North Broad Street business has a full espresso bar, bottle shop, craft beer, wine, and sweet snacks to offer to customers.

“When you come, it’s going to be small. You’re going to see a very small building, and I’ll tell you that shouldn’t scare you because real entrepreneurs can do anything with anything, ”said Lucas Mingin, a client.

When you come to Good Company Pups and Mugs, you don’t have to choose between hanging out with your friends or your dog.

“We have a large dog park and a small dog park. We also have a leash-only section, ”Isbell said.

There is also an agility course and tennis balls, so you can have a bit of fun with your furry friend while sipping your favorite drink.

isbell still has an IPA in the draft. The drinks menu changes with the season.

“We have the Grinch on their eggnog. Alexa wraps the gift is another drink out there, and we have one also called the naughty list, ”Isbell said.

He wants customers to feel at home when they stop with or without their dog.

“The reason the place is called Good Company Pups and Mugs is that I like the word ‘good’ because I want to do good. I want this place to be an avenue for good and I want to be able to do things where I can give back to others, ”Isbell said.

Good Company Pups and Mugs is open every day except Monday.

The main hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. On weekends, they open at 9 a.m.
