One Love Animal Rescue to Host Free Pet Vaccination Event Under ASPCA® Grant Program and Subaru Loves Pets | Sponsored | Community | Savannah News, Events, Restaurants, Music


One Love Animal Rescue received a $ 3,000 grant from The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®), as part of the ASPCA® & Subaru Loves Pets Grant Program, to host a free event vaccination and microchip for dogs and cats. at Chatham Parkway Subaru on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, 10 am to 1:45 pm The grant will cover basic vaccinations, microchipping and sterilization procedures for cats and dogs owned in Chatham County. No appointment necessary but supplies are limited to the first 75 animals.

One Love Animal Rescue is hosting the event as part of its Operations Pet Solutions program, which provides pet owners in need with the resources to keep their pets instead of having to abandon them. The National Spay Alliance Savannah Mobile Clinic will provide basic dog and cat vaccines and microchips at the event on October 16. Vouchers for free sterilization and sterilization services will be provided to interested pet parents. All dogs must be kept on a leash and all cats must be in cages. Operation Pet Solutions will have leashes, limited carriers and pet food on hand for those in need.
