Stolen dog found outside downtown store as investigation continues

Police have confirmed that a black Labrador dog that was stolen from outside a store in Hope Street on Saturday August 13 has been found unharmed.

Stevie Douglas confided in the Glasgow Times after the disappearance of his “best mate” Charlie.

The couple went for a walk last week, before briefly visiting a store on their way home.

Inside, he left the chained black Labrador outside the store. Two minutes later, when he returned, his dog was missing.

Heartbroken, the Possilpark man scoured the area to no avail, trying to locate his pet.
